Dear colleagues,
Maybe it's a better idea to calculate in e.g. stamps instead of money. More
universal and people know what they can offer in this time of sending XMas
cards.

Are standard messages?
Are they in a translation page?
Thank you,

Hello everybody!
I'm Andreea, I'm a new user and I would like to contribute with translations in Romanian.
I already translated Fundraising 2010/Sue Appeal/ro, but I don't know ho to continue. How do I change the status for the RO translation, from "missing" to "proofreading"? Please help.

Good day to y'all,
Welcome to the club, Andreea!
I'm new as well, to this list it is.
Been translating from English to Dutch (and vice versa) for some time, but not
"officially".
By joining I try to give my 'work' a more formal character.
Brothers (and sisters) in Arms,
Klaas aka Patio

Dear Andreea,
To change the status of a translation, click on the +/- link at the top of the translation status box on the right hand side of the page. Then scroll down that page until you get to the edit box.
There is a step-by-step guide to translation using this method on meta at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_FAQ#How_do_I_translate.3F_.28a_s….
Regards,
Eleri James

OK, I understand ;-( there is involved the IT Chapter ...
We know they and specially LMO Wikipedia know they ...
Anyway, now the PMS translation appears http://wikimediafoundation.org/w/index.php?title=WMFJA1/IT/pms&utm_source=2… because the page has been updated: "This page was last modified on 11 December 2010, at 17:49."
I would say you that also the ROA-TARA wikipedia has the same problem.
Thank you very much,
Dragonòt

Unfortunately this is still not working.
Clicking on the banner or "Read Now" from a page on the Yiddish Wikipedia still takes me to the English version of the landing page, despite all the effort you put in to setting up a Yiddish translation of the UK landing page.
