Hi everyone!
Wikimedia Ukraine soon is going to launch the third edition of writing
contest *Ukraine's Cultural Diplomacy Month*. As we once again aim for a
wide international audience, I welcome translations of our landing page
<http://ucdm.wikimedia.org.ua> (and subpages on the right) in as many
languages as possible.
Thanks very much for your cooperation!
Valentyn aka Renvoy
A data center switch will happen on March 1. We will distribute a message
to communities this Monday.
We still need translators' help to update and check the message:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-T…
Nothing changed since my previous message, so already translated messages
since last week are okay (thank you for your reactivity).
*But* some languages are still not up to date regarding the time and date.
Since the server switch is approaching, I updated them, using machine
translation or my best guess, so these *have to* be verified. :)
Thank you again for your help.
Benoît
Hi translators and coordinators,
The Wikimedia Foundation’s Language Team invites you to participate in
a survey about translation on wiki pages. “Translatable pages” is a
feature that allows wiki pages to be translated from one language into
another. For example, it’s commonly used with project documentation
and announcements; not to be confused with the Content Translation
tool used to translate Wikipedia articles.
We would like to hear from you whether you have used this feature or
not. If you prepare wiki content for translation, coordinate
translators, or provide translations, your feedback is important. The
survey takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete.
Anonymous survey link:

Please note this survey will be conducted via a third-party service,
which may subject it to additional terms. For more information on
privacy and data-handling, see the survey privacy statement:

Thanks for helping us find ways of improving translation on wiki.

A data center switch will happen on March 1. Please check
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/Server_switch to know more about it.
We need translators' help to update and check the message we usually use.
https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-T…
*Translators, please have a careful look at the instructions we provided
for some messages.* For most cases, you won't have to update much, except
for one sentence regarding the time, where you will have to adapt the
message to the different places where the language is spoken. Again, no
need to give timezones for Latin America for a language that is at 95%
spoken in Asia!
Let me know if you have any questions, preferably on the page talk page, so
that translators can coordinate there:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Tech/Server_switch
Thank you for your help with this important technical event.
