I wish you all a wonderful week ^_^

In these very final hours of sprint [1], a friendly reminder to please ping me immediately on wiki if you happen to stumble on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T221119 - usually it goes away just by remarking the source page for translation, FWIW.
Thanks! E.

As a heads-up: while I'm confident that French and Spanish translations for candidates profiles will be completed in time before voting starts, I had to start a process to get paid translations for Russian and Arabic - so that, when the next phase starts, all the candidates have uniform coverage at least in those 4 languages that were identified as key for several groups participating to ASBS this year.
This means that for candidates for which one or both those languages weren't at 100%, these languages aren't *currently* available to avoid duplicating efforts, but they will be early next week when I get the content back from the agency. If anyone feels like translating in a different language that's missing from the language bar, please email me off list and I'll be happy to add it.
Thanks for your understanding and support so far, E.

So translations for Arabic and Russian were just added, and I'd like to thank my colleagues for their help with that. If anyone has feedback about the quality of such translations (the ones that were added today), please do email me offlist about this. I'll point out that, because of the format in which I provided the content to the translators, importing the translated content with proper formatting wasn't going to work - well, this was my first time doing anything like that, so I learned a lesson here. I am unable to add wiki markup on top of the content I pasted, so I would be grateful if anyone able to review those profiles in Arabic [1] went ahead to add the markup, using the English source text as guidance. Also, if there's any translation you wanted to complete, the time is now, as voting starts just in a few hours. Once again, thanks for your cooperation so far, E.

Argh, then you’re guilty of not having followed the very best procedure.
- well, this was my first time doing
anything like that, so I learned a lesson here.
Best regards,
Would you be so kind to point me to where the "very best procedure" is documented, perhaps?
Thanks.
