Hi everyone,
we will gradually deploy the new sub-referencing feature
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/WMDE_Technical_Wishes/Su…>
to
all wikis in the next couple of months starting at the end of May /
beginning of June.
There are many languages with untranslated Cite messages. Please check the
following link – messages containing "details" are typically related to
sub-referencing:
https://translatewiki.net/w/index.php?title=Special%3ATranslate&group=ext-c…
The following (major) languages are *missing translations* related to
sub-referencing: be, bg, bn, ca, cbk-zam, ckb, da, es, el, et, fa, fi, gu,
hr, hu, id, is, ja, lt, lv, ml, ms, ps, pt, pt-br, ro, ru, th, tl, sk, sl,
sr, vi and *many more*.
The following languages have *completed translations* related to
sub-referencing: ar, az, cs, de, en, fr, gl, he, hi, ia, it, ko, mk, nb,
nl, pl, sv, tr, uk, yue-hant, zh-hans, zh-hant.
I generally recommend taking a look at untranslated Cite messages given how
vital citations are to our projects. Thanks a lot for your help!
Best,
Johannes
