Hello,
We are looking for your help in translating the iOS App's *Wikipedia Year
in Review* interface into as many languages as possible to ensure it is
available to all Wikipedia app users in mid January.
1. Translations can be found within the translatewiki message group “Wikipedia
iOS Mobile Main
<https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&group=out-wikimed…>
”.
2. Use the "Filter list" box to search for "*year-in-review*" to find all
messages associated with this feature.
We hope to have as many translations as possible by January 15th. You can
read more about this feature on the project page
<https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Apps/Team/iOS/Personalized_Wikiped…>
.
Thank you for your support!
Respectfully,
*Amal Ramadan* (She\Her)

Hello, Amal,
Last minute but one term is unclear to me: “active badge”.
* the term : “active”.
* where it appears : the experiment for private donor recognition [1]
(a) do we show an animated/moving badge on the donor page? Or;
(b) is it to indicate the badge stands out/eye catching? Or;
(c) Is it similar to “Wikipedia:Barnstar” which peers at some wikis will
give to user:talk pages? [2]

Hello everyone,
I need assistance from a Portuguese-English translator to check if the UI
messages of the Incident Reporting System
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Incident_Reporting_System> we are hoping
to deploy to Portuguese Wikipedia is adequate, and give feedback.
Please:
1. Visit a talkpage in Beta Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Main_Page&usel…
2. Click the 3 dots beside any comment to show the send thanks link or
report the comment.
3. Please click *report* and proceed to fill the form with answers just for
testing. Please don't file an actual report.
In case any of the translations are ambiguous or don't make sense please
report them to me by replying to this email. Please offer suggestions.
I will be happy to get feedback from now till Sunday night UTC.
Best regards,
