Hi all,
I apologize for the short notice but if anyone has a couple minutes to help translate a security message it would be great. We've been having some security issues over the past couple days with compromised accounts and we want to make sure we get the message out to admins as much as possible.
You can find the message for translation on meta at: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Security/Password_reset
I've also copied the text below for your benefit and if easier feel free to reply to me and I can enter it in as well.

We are currently experiencing compromises of privileged wiki accounts by an unknown and unauthorized third party. It appears that this may be the result of weak or reused passwords.
Community members are working along with members of multiple teams at the Foundation to address this issue.
In the meantime, we are asking that everyone review the passwords that they have chosen for their wiki accounts. If you know that you've chosen a weak password, or if you've chosen a password that you are also using or a non-wiki account, please change those passwords.
Select strong passwords -- eight or more characters long, and containing letters, numbers, and punctuation.
Hi James, would it make sense to include information about the availability of 2FA in this email too?

Italian done, but 8 chars is definitely not enough.

When saying "letters" if is useful to add a precision "(lowercase or uppercase)" to hint users that letter case is significant and can be used to strength passwords with more choices of characters.
We could optionally add an hint saying that passwords are not restricted to ASCII only (so, letters with accents and non-Latin letters are possible as well, including Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Hangul, Kanas, Han sinograms...), but some users will have difficulties to logon if they use some old browsers (or editing tools) that don't handle UTF-8 encoding properly in their input forms or if they change to another browser or if they want to use their account on a PC that does not have the input support for their script on their keyboard or IME: it's up to users to test what works for them. If they want more secure passwords, of course they should use longer strings than just 8 characters...
