Greetings,
The latest tech newsletter is ready for early translation: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/10
Direct translation link: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=pag...
I'm planning to send the newsletter on Monday afternoon (UTC), i.e. Monday morning PST. The existing translations will be posted on the wikis in that language.
There will be a few more edits by tomorrow (Friday), but the existing content should generally remain fairly stable. I'll let you know tomorrow in any case.
Let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. As always, I appreciate your help and feedback.
Thanks!

A few items have been added since yesterday. The previous items haven't changed. The text is now final and you can translate safely :)
I wonder why are there two lines about the Content Translation tool
In *Recent software changes* You can use the Content Translation tool https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_translation on Wikipedia in Uzbek and Minangkabau. You need to enable it in your Beta options.
In *Software changes this week* You can use the Content Translation tool on Wikipedia in Punjabi and Kyrgyz. You can ask for the tool https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Content_translation/FAQ#How_can_I_request_support_for_my_language.3F in other languages.
Could these be merged into one line or what means "recent software changes"? Changes that are made in the last week (in the last version)?

My understanding is that the first item (in "recent changes") covers wikis where the tool has already been enabled. The second item (in "this week") is about what will be enabled next week, i.e. "this week" when the newsletter is sent on Monday.
It's a bit confusing and I thought about merging them, but that would have meant mixing wikis where the feature was already available, and wikis where it will be added later, so I decided to keep them separate. I'm open to suggestions about how to handle similar cases in future newsletters.
