I’m Johanna from Wikimedia Germany’s Technical Wishes team. We’re soon
releasing ReferencePreviews as a new beta feature to many wikis, and I plan
to announce this on village pumps beforehand. It would be great if you

ReferencePreviews show previews of footnotes in the article text. This way,
you don’t have to jump down to the bottom of a page to look up a footnote. The
feature has been in the beta phase on German and Arabic Wikipedia for some
months, and it will now become a beta feature on all Wikipedias and a few
