Subject: [Translators-l] Short message for Arabic, Catalan, Dutch, English,
French, German, Hungarian, Norwegian, Spanish, Polish, and Thai
To: Wikimedia Translators <translators-l(a)lists.wikimedia.org>
Hello, all,
I have a short message that I need translated into these languages:
Arabic, Catalan, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Norwegian,
Spanish, Polish, and Thai
The message is at
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk_pages_consultation_2019/Communication/R…
A "strict" translation is NOT needed. I've tried to make the message
simple to translate, but it might seem a bit boring now. Please feel free
to adjust the wording if there is a more natural or friendly way to say
this in your language.
These will (we hope) be hand-delivered to some newer editors, wiki by wiki,
shortly after each translation is done. The links will be changed
individually to links that are relevant for the local community.
And, finally, we haven't heard from many translators in this consultation!
Translators' needs are unique and important. My own teammates would say
that the key to the whole movement, and I can't disagree with them. :-D
So please also click that link and tell the talk-page consultation team:
What do YOU need to be able to communicate on the wikis?
