Hello,
JB82 (en-n, es, fr, ru) helped synchsizing te translation of [[Current
staff]] to the latest version. After copyediting, we can have it on
foundation wiki in those language. Chinese version still needs to be
cared. I synched the Japanese version, and seek people who will
copyedit it.
Drini, Jd, ACrush & MaxSem, could you please coordinate their finishing?
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WMF/Current_staff/status
Lorenzarius, could you please care for the Chinese version?
And all the translators, please help your coordinators. If you
language hasn't it, you are invited to join (however I would point out
other and more urgent requests is coming soon. You may be more
interest in those; new board, about Foundation reflecting latest
changes ...)
It will be great we can upload those version before funddriving, since
personnel is now the largest part of expence.
Cheers,

Hello
Here is an orphaned page on the foundation wiki, apparently a version
of "Wikimedia needs your help".
http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Wikimedia_treng_di_hjelp
Could anyone please let us know in what language this document is written?
Cheers,

I must say, the translation system used on Meta is extremely intricate
and complicated. I have talked with several users who don't understand
squat of it, and frankly, neither do I. In other words, the system is
faulty - we get a lot less translations now than we could have had,
because the system scares people away. The whole thing should be
re-done from scratch, in my opinion.

Hello, now I am engaged in a minor update & maintainace of the
foundation website.
We have some outdated (even slightly - but importance isn't relevant
always to its size) materials. We would like to keep it brandnew.
Sooner, better, because outdated materials cause troubles frequently.
Please give me a time. I have wondered why Japanese media stressed so
much our non-profit character and loved to say "there is no paid staff
for running Wikipedia". For months later I found a part of reason.
Japanese version of [[About Wikimedia]] clearly stated only Chad was
paid but he was a part-time who came to the office one a week at any
rate. Gah. And it was just in this September.
Um, stop my silly talk. So,
- Disclaimer. All translated materials from the official staff needs
to be tagged with it, in our opinion; not only mine, the Board and
Brad Patrick. If you know any official document's translation, please
give a look to meta:TR. Disclaimer is not so long. Less than 100
words.
- OurProject template on the Foundation website home. We have now nine
projects in our community, including Wikiversity. Our youngest sister
needs to have publicity. And personally I would like to keep
consistency between language versions on that website. So if you speak
Finnish, Polish, Portuguese or Chinese, please give a look to
meta:TR/quick. It is only two-phrase translation; Wikiversity and its
motto.

And if you have still time and would like to kill time in this weekend
... there are also

and two financial documents (cf. foundation-l) ...

Hello,
thank you for your help for disclaimer for WMF document, now the
French version is waiting for copyeditor, Japanese version is at the
final stage of proofreading. Other languages ... all languages we find
translation(s) of official policy on the Wikimedia website, either
foundation website or your local ones, will have it until December 10.
Either in their own language or in English, expectantly. We think such
official document cannot be left without such remark about their
status (either official or only reference).
You find it on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WMF/disclaimer
Most of you know soon we start a fundraising drive. Sitenotice will be
translated, but it is not sooo large. Audited documents will be very
useful if translated, but they are not in urgent. Those two documents
are now available in the foundation website.
On the foundation website new materials are coming soon. Some were
already uploaded (See foundation-l). [[Current staff]] was fixed and
waiting for being synched. If you have a working translation on meta,
it is the time to finish it. And, of course, Board members. New Board
members as you know. Wait, it is not the time to translate [[Board of
Trustees]] yet. It is still being polished ... Not to be ready to
translate. Sorry. On the contrary, the news on the top page is ready
to translate. It is a big news and worthy to inform the community.
If your language have no translated news section on foundation website
yet, please consider to inform your community on Village Pump or
somewhere about the new construction of Board with 3 new members (see
[[Wikimedia:Resolution:Board expansion]] also).
Thank you for your all supports, always (phew, 3am ...)
if TR on meta is updated during my sleep, I'll be happy and appreciate.

could help it. If there is no your language version, please start.
Fi is ready and with one last step; page title in Finnish ...
Yes, each page needs to be named in its language. Put translation
besides of the link at the list on [[TR/WMF#Staffs]].
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WMF#Staffs
Without any intervention, pages will be available on foundationwiki on
November 1.
