I wanted to translate the additional sentence of the Wikimedia Maintenance Notice into Upper Sorbian and Lower Sorbian but the editor window says to me that I don't have the permission to translate although I translated the original text into both languages.
Hi Michael,
You may be getting this message because you're trying to edit the page directly. The translations are now done using the Translate tool.
You can access the translation interface through 2 ways: * If you click the edit button and you see the "You do not have permission to edit" message, click the link labeled "the translation tool" at the end of the second line. * If you're on the page but haven't clicked the edit button yet (for example https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_maintenance_notice/hsb ), click the link that says "translated version" in the small sentence at the top of the page.
Either link should bring you to the pages where you can edit the translations; I've put the direct links below in case you can't find them: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=pag... https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=pag...
