Greetings,
The latest tech newsletter is ready for early translation:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/10
Direct translation link:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-T…
I'm planning to send the newsletter on Monday afternoon (UTC), i.e. Monday
morning PST. The existing translations will be posted on the wikis in that
language.
There will be a few more edits by tomorrow (Friday), but the existing content
should generally remain fairly stable. I'll let you know tomorrow in any case.
Let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. As always, I
appreciate your help and feedback.
Thanks!

Hello, everybody!
The Wikimedia Foundation's Inspire campaign for the grants programs is
about to launch, and we have some material that needs translating relating
to this. The first priority is the CentralNotice banner
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Translate/Centralnotice-tgroup-Insp…>
which will be shown on a large amount of wikis when the campaign launches.
There are also a number of related pages that are already ready for
translation, and there is more to come in the next few days. The translation
hub <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IdeaLab/Inspire/Translation>
for the campaign links to everything that is ready and tells you what is
the highest priority.
I will send more updates when we have more material, so stay tuned. If you
have any questions, feel free to ask me here or on the translation hub's
talk page. :-)
[Forwarding this message from my personal account since it didn't go
through from my wikimedia.org account. My apologies if you receive it
twice.]

Hi dear translators,
I am reaching out to ask for your kind help to translate our fundraising
support page 'Other Ways to Give'
<https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Ways_to_Give> into *Danish. *
We will be fundraising on Danish Wikipedia in the next coming weeks and it
would be most valuable to have this page available in the local language.
Please click here to start translating.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards,
Jessica

Hello,
Tomorrow I will begin the process of sending out the personal announcements
to all accounts that will need to be renamed to complete SUL finalization.
Please take a moment for one last check on the current translation for your
language, I plan on sending out only 100% complete translations.

Thank you for your time.

Hey all,
I apologize for the late notice to this list but if you have time I would
love for you to take a look at the banner we plan to launch with tomorrow
(late UTC) and the pages that will encompass the strategy consultation that
the WMF is starting.
The banner (quickest) is at
https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=Centra…
The banner already has some translations seeded from a combination of staff
and paid translators so that we knew we'd have some to start but I'd love
if people could go and proofread them even if they exist already. If it
helps you can see a preview of the banner here
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&banner=Strategy2015_…>
.
I have made an aggregate group
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=agg-20…>
for the rest of the translation pages. It includes the main page plus some
templates and subpages that are part of the campaign (we want to make it as
easy as possible to leave comments in your own language). These have
actually been on meta for a couple months already without a whole lot of
change and so have quite a few translations already but the more eyes the
better.
Let me know if you have any questions and thank you in advance for anything
you can do!
