Hi everyone, The latest tech newsletter is ready for early translation: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/45 Direct translation link: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-T… I'm planning to send the newsletter on Monday afternoon (UTC), i.e. Monday morning PDT. The existing translations will be posted on the wikis in that language. There may be a few more edits by Friday, but the existing content should generally remain fairly stable. Brand-new Wikimedia digest

Hi all, We're starting a new Wikimedia digest that will be a globally focused hub for important Wikimedia movement and Foundation initiatives. I'm aiming to supplement existing community news outlets while also filling a void left by inactive outlets like the Portuguese Wikipedia's Correio da Wikipédia, for example. The first article in this series is now ready for translation, and I'd appreciate help in getting it out to your communities (along with any suggestions you have to improve future posts). I have tried to make it easier for readers to see which items are recurring every week, as well as which items which are mainly relevant to those with more technical knowledge. Translation check for Community Tech's tech support survey

Hi translators, In a couple days, the Community Tech team is going to send out a tech support survey to wikis in 9 languages. The translations are done and the surveys are ready to go, but we'd like a final check to make sure that we've done everything correctly. I've got test surveys up for each language. Localization and translation support for fundraising

Dear translators, As many of you know, the Wikimedia Foundation run fundraising campaigns worldwide. We strive to localize our campaigns and create high quality messages in a variety of languages. I would like to send out a warm thank you to those of you who have provided support and helped us translate fundraising messages into your language. Your help and support is most valuable. We are always interested in receiving local feedback regarding our campaigns and learn how we can improve our messaging.
