Hello,
the latest issue of the Tech News bulletin is now ready for early
translation at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Tech/News/2014/18
The bulletin will be sent to subscribers on Monday morning (UTC); all
translations existing by that time will be posted on wikis in those
languages.
There might be some edits tomorrow, but the content should remain
fairly stable — I will let you know as soon as a final version of the
issue is published.
Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. I
appreciate your help, feedback and involvement.

Hi all,
I have been accepted into the Google Summer of Code 2014 and will be
working on the "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content"
project [1].
As per the project timeline, I have drafted the requirements [2] for this
project after discussing with my mentors - Nikerabbit and Nemo_bis. It
would be great if the translation admins and translators have a look at the
requirements and let us know if they have any other requirements from their
side.
Please mention them on the corresponding discussion page [3]. I would like
to get some feedback on the importance of requirements mentioned as
optional in that page.
I need to get done with this by the next couple of days, so I would
appreciate if you can give this a quick look. :)
Thank you!

Hi all,
as many of you are already aware, the Wikimedia Funds Dissemination
Committee (FDC) is currently seeking input from the community to help
evaluate proposals from four Wikimedia organizations (two chapters,
CIS in India, and the WMF which has posted its draft annual plan for
2014/15): https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Grants:APG/Proposals/Com…
Quite a few users have already followed this invitation and commented
on the proposals; the community review phase ends on April 30.
But as usual, we are also running CentralNotice banners for logged-in
editors on all projects to bring this invitation to the attention of
editors - whose volunteer work much of the requested money is planned
to support. The English banner text reads as follows:
"Help the Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) decide how to spend
Wikimedia donations"
"Comment on 4 proposals until April 30, including the Wikimedia
Foundation's annual budget"
"The proposals are in English, but you can comment in your own language."
Please help by providing a translation here:

Thanks!

Well, both true for Korean. Most people interested in Tech News can read
English without being translated, and there's some difficulties about
translations... (Like, I had some discussions about word "Test wiki" with
one translator's talk page. It was about if "testwiki" means "Wikis to
test" or "[[testwiki:]],[[test2wiki:]] and [[testwikidata:]]".)
