ich habe mal bei http:www.demis.nl nachgefragt ob deren karten in der wikipedia verwendet werden können. insbesondere die worldmap ist sehr detaillreich. ich habe die links unter Wikipedia:Karten#Freie_verfügbare_Daten eingearbeitet

In general there are no copyright restrictions on the maps (PNG/GIF etc)

can pull from our worldmap demo. We always appreciate a reference to Demis where people use them for a non-profit site like yours, whatever you think would be suitable.

Please note that some of the applications you find in our gallery are run

by

our clients, ie. we cannot grant you permission to use the images from ReefBase etc.

When you put up the feature you are sugesting maybe you can send us a link so we can take a look how that works out ?
