Hallo zusammen, da der Verein in den kommenden Monaten auf einigen Messen bzw. Kongressen präsent sein wird, habe ich mal einen Entwurf für einen Wikimedia-Folder erstellt: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Promotionmaterial/Folder Konstruktive Kritik erbeten, am besten direkt auf meta. Wenn der Folder bis zur Berlinux (22./23. Oktober) gedruckt sein soll, bleibt uns nicht mehr viel Zeit. Chat zum Thema Wikiversity

Heute, am Freitag dem 16. September, wird es um 20:00 einen Chat zum Thema Wikiversity/Wikiversität im allgemeinen und dem Antrag auf Förderung beim Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (Förderprogramm "eLearning-Dienste für die Wissenschaft") im speziellen geben. Das ganze wird im IRC stattfinden, Server ist irc.freenode.net, channel: #wikiversity. Allgemeine Informationen zur Teilnahme am IRC gibt die Seite http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Chat Der Antrag wird auf dieser Seite erstellt werden: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikiversity/Projektskizze_%22eLearning-Diens… Dort und auf der dazugehörigen Diskussionsseite gibt es weitere Informationen. Bis zum 1. Oktober muss die Projektskizze fertig sein, Abgabetermin ist der 4. Oktober. Das ist verdammt knapp, aber die Herren von der Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart sind zuversichtlich, also bin ich es auch. Kurt

Hallo Leute, nachdem seit dem ersten Vereins-Chat einige Zeit ins Land gegangen ist, haben Kurt und ich uns überlegt, das ganze mal zu wiederholen. Als Termin schlage ich den nächsten Sonntag, 12.9. vor. Wer nicht kann, bitte mit alternativen Vorschlägen melden. Themensammlung wie beim letzten Mal auf http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Vereins-Chat - scheut euch nicht, Sachen auf die Tagesordnung zu setzen. Eine Sache, die mir besonders am Herzen liegt, wäre mal über die bessere Organisation von Wikipedia-Auftritten auf Konferenzen und Messen zu reden. Wir bräuchten Firmen, wo wir billig Plakate, Flyer und Prospekte drucken können, vielleicht auch Sticker oder Pins zum verteilen/verkaufen. Guten Tag zusammen, Ich bin ein contributor der englischen Wikipedia. Ich habe kuerzlich eine Reihe von zusammenhaengenden Themen auf der wikiEN-l mailing list zur Sprache gebracht. Man hat mir empfohlen, mich einerseits an die foundation-l zu wenden und andererseits die Angelegenheit an den deutschen Verein (das waeret ihr ;-) mitzuteilen. Da ich ehrlich gesagt aber nicht den Nerv habe, jetzt den ganzen Kram auch noch mal auf Deutsch abzufassen, hoffe ich jetzt mal ganz einfach, dass die meisten hier ausreichend der englischen Sprache maechtig sind :) und leite die betreffende email einfach weiter (s.u.). Ich wuerde mich freuen, wenn Ihr den betreffenden Kram mal durchlesen koenntet, so dass wir hier weitere Schritte besprechen koennen. Im Falle von nachhaltigen Sprachschwierigkeiten bitte auf der Liste melden -- wir koennen dann gegenseitig sicher aushelfen und ich kann im Einzelfall auch die betreffenden Stellen erklaeren. Vielleicht haben auch andere Untenstehendes bereits berichtet (s.u.). -- Falls es schon Antworten oder Diskussionsbeitraege gab, so wuerde ich mich freuen, wenn man diese noch mal an mich weiterleiten koennte. -- Ich habe erst jetzt gerade diese mailing list abonniert. I've now also notified DENIC.de about this issue. I did NOT /complain/ to DENIC about Dr. Schlabeck -- I sent them an expressly "information-only" email, purely to notify them of what's going on (as I think that hundreds of, or a thousand domain names are somewhat unusual). I did not lobby them to take any action whatsoever. See below.
