Das Grant Program der Wikimedia Foundation erlaubt Wikimedia Chapters Stipendium zu bekommen, für verschiedene Projekte. Ein gutes Beispiel, wie das Geld benutzt wurde, dort:

An interesting report from Wikimedia CZ about their project to document the Czech countryside:

A total of 4,418 photos have been uploaded to date, of which more than 1,000 are used in articles. About half the grant money was used, and the other half will be used to extend the project by another year.
