All modifikations are up to made in the localSettings.php To activate teh Upload activate the line wich contains: "$wgEnableUploads = true;" To deacitvate the extension controll completly add the line : "$wgStrictFileExtensions = false;" Beware! ALL kind of files are updateable now! Isn't the overflow:auto attribute used within div tags? One thing I discovered on one of my other sites is how TIMESTAMP values are returned. Under MySQL 4.0.16, they were returned as "YYYYMMDDHHMMSS", under MySQL 5.0.16, it's "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS". (Thanks, guys.)-: At least this is different between the two when you mysql_fetch_array () TIMESTAMP values, because I write the result unadorned to a preferences file for another website client, and it normally goes out as an integer, which is read back in like "$Updated = 20051213210957;" but totally screws up when it tries to read back in "$Updated = 2005-12-13 21:09:57;" Do those of you who leap tall buildings with a single bound and instantly grok stack dumps see how this particular gotcha could be causing my stack dump? :::: Hydrogen power will dramatically reduce greenhouse gas admissions. -- George W. Hi, First, I would like to thank everyone. I got localisation set up, beautiful URLs working fine. This problem just pop up: How do I delete completely a page? I want to delete a page and its historical data all together. boards2go spam attack

PESWiki.com has been hit with an automated spam attack that circumvents 1) requirement that edits be done only by logged-in users 2) spamblock script that was installed. It seems to target non-populated pages, such as talk pages and category pages and not-yet-built page links, and posts spam links from them. It logs in as one user, then after a few hours, logs in as another user, and hits the same pages again. So far today, I've been hit by three users. It is not a mission critical attack inasmuch as the pages it is hitting are not high traffic pages, and it doesn't remove content, it only appends its spam links at the end. Any ideas? Sterling

The password issue -- and its work-arounds -- seems pretty well explained at: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/old-client.html I completely removed the password from the MediaWiki database, changing it as well in LocalSettings.php. And once again, I get the stack-dump. So the stack dump I sent earlier is the true problem that I was masking by messing with the password. (I got the stack dump when I still had a MySQL 4 password, and only got the infamous "client does not support" message after changing the password.) I verified on one of my MW 1.4 sites that putting a new password in causes a problem, and that doing the remedies in the above web page work. But not for the MW 1.5 site! Mediazilla sources

Hi all, I would like to add a Mediazilla front-end for my own bugzilla installation. The site is running Bugzilla 2.20 and Mediawiki 1.4.7 with slightly customized Monobook stylesheets. From what I understand, Mediazilla is just the original Bugzilla Perl/CGI scripts with some minor modifications, so that the Mediawiki stylesheets get used. But where can I find the source for the modified scripts? Are they in the Wikipedia CVS on SourceForge? Can I simply replace the original Bugzilla scripts with the Mediazilla scripts, or are there additional adjustments that I need to make? Thanks for any pointers, Mirko
