captcha in 1.5+

Hello, Helping me out with the install of a captcha on mediawiki1.5 would be a very nice Christam present, as it is been two month that I despair on this. Anyway, I've created another calendar for mediawiki 1.5. You put : a date in a page: [[Dec/12/2005]] and (optional) a category link: [[category: Cinema]] for exemple You can display a calendar on any page by just adding: <calendar></calendar> and for each day of the month, you can see the pages linked to this day (a mouseover gives you the names of the pages). You can also filter by category: <calendar>cat=Cinema</calendar> and only the pages linked to a day AND to the cinema category will be displaied. I think it is a good idea to put such a calendar on the Category pages. http://www.fxparlant.net/Mediawiki_Calendar But, as long as I haven't got my captcha, I can't upgrade my site which still runs version 1.3 and therefore I can't give you the demo of my calendar extension. Re: 1.5.2 problems with MySQL 5.0.16?

Okay, it looks like MySQL is crashing each time the MW 1.5 stack trace happens. I have no idea why. From the CrashDump log, it looks like /usr/lib/libMathCommon.A.dylib is crashing. At this time, it would seem I have a problem with MySQL, rather than MW 1.5 -- although it is odd that MW 1.5 is the ONLY app that causes MySQL to crash -- MW 1.4 works fine, as does phpMyAdmin and a dozen artist/gallery sites I developed! I don't imagine the following means anything to anyone, but it's been about 20 years since I crawled through dumps, so any help or ideas appreciated! Images no longer displayed

problems with anonymous permission

Hi! I use MediaWiki 1.5 and spanish language; I've a problem with anonymous read permission. Installation Problems

Hi there, I tried to setup MediaWiki on my web server. My configuration: SUSE Linux 10.0 Apache 2 PHP 4.4.0 MySQL-Version 4.1.13 After uploading it to the document root directory I tried to begin the setup process but I got error message like that: Warning: main(includes/SiteConfiguration.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/wiki/includes/DefaultSettings.php on line 27 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/SiteConfiguration.php' (include_path='/usr/share/php') in /srv/www/htdocs/wiki/includes/DefaultSettings.php on line 27 What can I do? Thanks for your time, but I've solved the Problem with reinstalling the Wiki on an Apache Server. But I've followed the instructions. With doesn't react anymore i ment, that the browser is trying to load the next page (after hit "save") and will never get any page. Not even after a nighttime! I suppose, that the problem was based on the codepages used by the IIS. If I created an article using SQL, I was able to use the special characters, but Wiki had shown me funny ones instead. If I created an article using the Wiki, the article was saved in the database, but instead of the special characters there where funny ones (e.g. ü=>³). So it seams to me, that the Database can use this characters, and Wiki can it also, but the IIS can't.
