Easy way to make a page only readable by Sysops?

Blank screen after logging in

I have the next problem with mediawiki 1.6.8, running on IIS/windows2003 When I'm using Internet explorer and try to log in, I get a blank screen. When using firefox everything is allright. Anyone got an idea? I would be helped a lot

Is there a way to reintegrate a datase which was backed up into a new installation of MediaWiki or is this a lost cause? I'm running on Windows XP right now with MeiaWiki 1.8.2.

Requiring Stronger Passwordds with MW 1.7.1

Hello, I am trying to find away to require stronger password with MW 1.7.1. I have searched and searched but come up with nothing. Here is my example: I can create and account and the password be "dog". I know i can change the length but I would like to see the password be something like "D0g!" requiring users to use number upper case and lower case letters and special char's. Anyone have an example of this? Thumbnail problems

Hi everyone, I'm consistently getting an error when trying to make thumbnails - the most message states: "Error creating thumbnail: sh: line 1: /usr/bin/convert: No such file or directory" Can anyone help troubleshoot? Thanks! -Rich

default settings for page protection

Hey guys, hope you're all well at whetever you're doing ;-) My question today: is there a way to change the default setting for page protection? I.e. when a page is being created, have it automatically set to a specific level (I've created my own called "Mitarbeiter only")? If so, how do I do that? Thanks for your help, Florian
