Just a quick google search of your error message generates lots of results
that might be helpful to you [1].
Also did you redefined $wgGroupPermissions in your LocalSettinsg.php file?

Hello,
Is there a cronjob I could use to copy the mediawiki trunk on a daily basis
to my server?
So the cron most download it from SVN, and paste it in the directory where
my mediawiki is running.

Subject: No Content Only Text Appearing in Some Windows
Sorry left the subject unedited, try again:-
I've just installed MediaWiki. When I click on the link for my username
and
"my talk" I just get text. EG for:
/wiki/index.php?title=User_talk:MyUserName.
I have included some of it below, notice it begins half way through a
hyperlink.
Anyone any idea what's happening?
MediaWiki v1.16.0, PHP v5.2.6 and MySQL v5.0.77

Further to my last post, I¹ve been able to upload the HTMLCacheUpdate.php

there doesn¹t appear to be an unterminated comment.
