We'd like to have images that, when clicked, take the user to another
page, rather than to the 'image master page' for that image. There
doesn't seem to be an obvious way of doing this using image markup. Any
ideas?
Thanks,
Ken
ahem.....please send me a copy and I will try it :-)

Unfortunately, my organization will not upgrade to PHP 5 (or some reason like that) I am stuck with mediawiki version 1.6.10. So, presumably, the importImages.php script became available later.
Although I can not upgrade my version of mediawiki, can I get a copy of the importImages.php file and add it to my maintenance scripts? Would it be compatible?

Hi,
I have the following code inside an infobox template:
|-
{{ #if: {{{district|}}} |
! District: | {{{district|}}}
}}
|-
{{ #if: {{{owned|}}} |
! Owned By: | {{{owned|}}}
}}
When I use the template inside an article the District and Owned By
headings do not display when they have no information (as expected),
however when information is supplied the headers show but the
information does not...Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Ultimately if
information is provided e.g. owned= me then the info box should display
'Owned By: me' but instead it just shows 'Owned By: '
Thanks
Tom
folks,
I've got a folder full of images I'd like to import/upload to my wiki. Is there a procedure for how to do this out there? I didn't notice anything obvious in the maintinence folder. Please advise.

Hi!
I'm stuck with dumphtml.php. I want to create an offline version of
our company wiki, but it's not working on any of our installation :S
At first it give "PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information -
headers already sent by (output started at
E:\PubHtml\wiki\maintenance\dumpHTML.php:119) in
E:\PubHtml\wiki\includes\WebResponse.php on line 9" warnings, and the
all produced html pages flow to console, none files created. I tried
with the default path, and given path; with switches or without, no
change.
I searched the net, but I didn't find anything useful.. For the PHP
warning, I checked that none of the PHP files have BOM, and no
starting or trailing whitespaces before the first "<" and last ">".
Our mediawiki server config: Windows XP SP2, MediaWiki 1.9.3, PHP:
5.2.1 (apache2handler), MySQL 5.0.37-community-nt.
Thanks in advance,
Akos Szabo
Are if/then statements enabled for use in templates in the latest
version of MediaWiki, as they are in Wikipedia? It's getting to become
a bit of a chore having tons of empty fields in my At a Glance lists,
and I'm wondering if it's worth going through the hassle of having my
MySQL databases updated so I can run the latest version of MediaWiki.

Is your wiki somewhere public where it can be seen?
Maya Narayanan: NO. :-(

Hi there,
Is that possible to use Multilanguage feature in single wiki project, or it
is a "must" to have a multiple wiki projects installed for every language
used?
If yes, how do I do that? Just give me the link, where I can read (I've read
through handbooks, in every place there is a manual to show how to enable
Multilanguage linking between different projects.

I tried running that command but I get that I have an error in my SQL syntax
messages. I am on MediaWiki 1.6.3 and the site I got it from was for 1.8.2
- is this the problem?
Is there any other way to get my wiki to recognize the imported pages?
