Hi, I attach my LocalSettings.php: my $wgScript is empty because I change it didn't find css style. I added a line into .htaccess about api.php so that, now, api.php is reachable.. but http://genomics.cribi.unipd.it/Special:Upload does not work.. Any ideas? Issue uploading to Mediawiki via a vpn connection

Product Version MediaWiki 1.15.1 PHP 5.2.8 (cgi-fcgi) MySQL 5.1.30-community . URL: Our WIKI is only internal. So I can not give you the url, but it is the basic upload link. When uploading a file from a slow link or over VPN my users are getting the following error. FastCGI Error The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request. Error Details: . The FastCGI process exceeded configured request timeout . Error Number: 995 (0x800703e3). . Error Description: The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request. HTTP Error 500 - Server Error. Internet Information Services (IIS) Can anyone help me. The user is uploading a 8mb files and the limits are set to 100mb. Timothy C. Encoding issues

Hi all, We have hired an external service to update our system from 1.11 to 1.14. After many delays (which explains why 1.14 and not 1.15), now it's a mess because at many places accented characters looks as if they were unencoded UTF-8 characters (ie, Ã³ is not an unencoded ó, but the two UTF-8 encoded chars Ã and ³). SQL errors post update

Post updating to 1.15.1, I began having issues adding new pages. After putting the new files in place, I ran "php update.php --aconf ../AdminSettings.php " from the maintenance directory. Now I am getting messages like the one below when I try to create a page. Any suggestions? New project with mediawiki

Hi, i’m new from mailing list, sorry for my not perfect english! I’m web developer and my hobby is growing hot chili pepper. I will join my profession with my hobby, I had the idea to create a free open mediawiki devoted entirely to hot pepper. I have already submitted this idea to people participating in other sites on the topic and are interested in contributing (contents) I'm looking for people who are familiar with mediawiki to give me advice on how to start the project, to be sure to do just if anyone has please help me at this early stage please contact me to send him the link to the project (the domain of the project is not yet public, and I do not want Google to index it immediately) Thanks
