Hello everyone,

This email is a reminder of Wikimedia South Africa’s (WMZA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the strategic retreat workshop that will precede it. As was mentioned in previous emails the AGM will be taking place on 18 November 2023. Both the AGM and the retreat workshop are open to all WMZA members and project partners.

In the 3 days before the AGM on the 15, 16, and 17 November 2023 we will be hosting our strategic retreat to develop our chapter's next 5 year plan. The current 5 year plan is coming to an end now and the next one needs to be developed. As WMZA chapter members and partner organisations we need your help to do that. The Wikimedia Foundation has very kindly agreed to assist us with hosting the retreat and will manage the workshop process.

We will also be celebrating *Afrikaans Wikipedia's 22nd Birthday* on *16 November 2023* at 18:30 - 22:00 to be held at the Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns at 574 Ziervogel St, Arcadia, Pretoria, 0132, South Africa. The bus will leave for the event at 17:40.
