Their contact details are available but not in the open.
If you want, you may wish to write to the Wikimedia za for it as they
processed all the applicants and or attendees.
Theresa can be of assistance in this regard.

Hi
I've taken another look at the status of some of the African language
Wikimedia projects at
http://www.greenman.co.za/blog/?p=1348
For those coming to the Wiki Indaba, see you there tomorrow.
ian
Hello everyone,
This is just a friendly reminder that this year's Wiki Loves Monuments
<http://wikilovesmonuments.co.za/wiki/Main_Page> photographic competition
is only 75 days away. We have submitted a grant application
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:PEG/WM_ZA/WLM-ZA-2014> for funding
to host it and I am expecting this year to be even better than last year's
event.
There is currently a bit of uncertainty about the international Wiki Loves
Monuments happening but the South African competition for 2014 looks set to
go. Currently there is a need for an organiser for the international event
so if you are interested in helping out please let me know.
If you are interested in learning more about this year's Wiki Loves
Monuments in South Africa or would like to help out in any way please let
me know and I will be happy to get back to you.
I hope you all have been eagerly taking photographs to submit throughout
the month of September this year. The prizes are the same as last year's
only this year will see the return of the best picture for the Western Cape
prize category but no prize for most uploades.
The prizes are:
1. First Prize: Vouchers from Orms to the value of R7,500.
2. Second Prize: Vouchers from Orms to the value of R4,000.
3. Third Prize: Vouchers from Orms to the value of R2,500.
- Best Picture of a Proposed Monument: Vouchers from Orms to the value
of R3,000.
If you have other photographs that you would like to submit or just can't
wait until September than I encourage you to participate in the Commons
photo challenge <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Photo_challenge>.
Helen Riding is very kindly organising this event in South Africa. Thank
you Helen! :-)
Best regards,

Hi All, there are a couple of things I wanted to post to this list.
1) Commons photo challenge
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Photo_challenge
This month and next month I am the volunteer co-ordinator of the monthly photo challenge on Wikimedia Commons which was started last December. Please let me know if you want to participate and/or need technical help. There are no prizes, just kudos if you get a place.
The challenges for June are:
*Time for sports (challenge open for two months since May)
*Wiki Loves Pride 2014 (part of a broader collaboration with the Wiki Loves Pride 2014 campaign on Wikipedia, our first such collaboration)
*Ruins, cemeteries and ghostly places
The challenges for July have not been finalised yet, one may be work-related.
2) National Key Points Act
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Key_Points_Act,_1980
I was told to stop taking photographs of Stellenbosch railway station by security guards, which led to me expanding this article from a stub. It should be of interest to anyone photographing buildings in SA.
3) Wikimania 2014 brochure
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_South_Africa#Leafl…
Please could we have some input about the contents of this brochure which a WPSA member has requested. I removed the contact details for Wikimedia ZA as I understand it is not the same thing as WPSA and don't want to create confusion. WPSA doesn't seem to have a logo per se, and we should remedy that. Are there any guidelines or tips for logos for SA projects? I am not artistic myself, perhaps we could have some sort of contest to design one?
Enjoy the indaba this weekend if you are going. I am sorry I cannot attend, travelling away from home is difficult for me.
Regards
Helen
