Dear wikimedian fellows,
for your information, I will be attending the annual congress of professors of French at Durban from the 23rd to the 25th of July[1].
I'm invited to share WMFr experiences in the spreading of french language in Africa such as Afripedia[2].
Please just let me know if you have any questions regarding the Congress.
Sorry for my bad english,
I would be delighted to meet you, if you have any free time there,
best regards,
Willie Robert

Hello everyone
I just want to remind you that the Gauteng meeting (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:WM_ZA/Gauteng_meeting) can be scheduled for any of the dates between 19 and 21 July. We arranged to meet the NHC on the Friday (20 July) so we now need to plan the WLM meeting and general chapter meetup around that. Please respond to this email if you plan to attend any of those two meetings so that we can decide on the exact dates and times.
Kind regards
Lourie
Hello
Sorry, but I completely forgot to post this earlier. I managed to get a meeting with Andrew (Western Cape Heritage) on 18 July at 08:00 to follow-up our discussions and finalise the collaboration. Feel free anyone to join!
Kind regards
Lourie
Hello everyone
See the discussion below regarding our grant for the Gauteng meeting. Just to keep you updated, for now I arranged to get it paid to my bank account. I opened a separate account for it, because that way it will be easier to follow what is happening and to report back at the end. As soon as the chapter's bank account is up and running I will transfer the funds.
Kind regards
Lourie

I changed the original dates proposed (http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Grants%3AWM_ZA%2FGauteng_meetin…) on Meta, due to the time required to process the grant, and also that these new dates were the only ones we could get with the government departments we would like to meet. I hope this isn't a problem. Just let me know if there is something else to-do.

Hello everyone
As we can meet the NHC from 19 July I suggest that we meet them on 20 July (which is a Friday), after-which we can have the planned "Gauteng meeting" during the rest of the Friday and on the Saturday. Please come back to us whether these days are suitable for you, as Danny needs to now before next Tuesday. See this link for more information about the meeting: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:WM_ZA/Gauteng_meeting
Kind regards
Lourie

Thanks Béria, you are a lifesaver! :) Yes, we would like to contact them on en.wiki. Currently there are many South African wikimedians that are not on our mailing lists and we would like to let them know about WLM, because we need extra hands to help us with the competition and we would like to spread the word in the community. As our chapter is very young, we still need to reach out to those South Africans we "missed" originally when establishing the chapter.
Kind regards
Lourie

Thanks for your time, it is appreciated.
