I have Pear installed and there is a directory c:\php\Pear And I ran the whole go-pear.bat and accepted the default locations In the error log I'm receiving [07-Mar-2011 15:36:18] PHP Warning: require_once(Mail.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\inetpub\ MYSITE \w\includes\UserMailer.php on line 119 [07-Mar-2011 15:36:18] PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'Mail.php' (include_path='D:\inetpub\MYSITE\w;D:\inetpub\ MYSITE \w/includes;D:\inetpub\ MYSITE \w/languages;.;C:\php\pear') in D:\inetpub\ MYSITE \w\includes\UserMailer.php on line 119 I do not see a mail.php file anywhere. I'm not a PHP person, yep a silly windows .net programmer and I'm running this on a windows 2003 server I really don't want to use the PEAR server but my own smtp mailserver - how do I configure MediaWiki not to use PEAR but my smtp server? I already have the smtp server's IP address in the LocalSettings.php file. Thanks - sorry to be dense about this - but, I'm still learning. Sandy

Greetings, As of a few months ago, I've been getting spam pages generated on my wiki. I upgraded to the latest mediawiki release and I added recaptcha to login and anonymous edit, but spam accounts and pages are still being created. I added debug output to the recaptcha extension to show me when it accepts or denies input, but it seems it isn't even getting called when the spam accounts are being created. Is there a known security hole with recaptcha and the latest mediawiki version? An log example is below (with a couple modifications for privacy). I'm trying to construct a query that will list a page with all its sub-pages, except those with language codes. It seemed to me that it should be possible to have a nottitlematch argument that specifies that it should not end with /and-two-characters-only, but I can't find how to do this. Is it possible to collect all the pages in the Application set first, then from that list select only those that do not have /xx? Is there a better way of going about this? Can anyone help, please? Running 1.16.1 on a windows server system. When a user tries to retrieve their password via email the page displayed is a server error 500. How do I get the detailed error to troubleshoot and where would I start to troubleshoot --- the mail server is configured. Thank you, sandy

Hi! I'd like to authenticate users against a kerberos server. Apache serving this mediawiki is already authenticating users using kerberos. This works. But ... None of the users known to LDAP do have access to the wiki. All are prompted to authenticate before changing pages (but all are authenticated already, because the whole server forces SSL/TLS and authentication via kerberos before access to any page hosted). adding javascript

Hello! I'd like to add javascript to to the search page of mediawiki. It would be a huge bonus if this script could be loaded only for logged in admin users, so I could test it before rolling it out.
