Hi,
What can I do to get the right German sort order of all articles when choosing "All pages"? The "Umlaute" and "ß" is sorted in a wrong way, these special characters are sorted after the letter "Z" but this is not the right order.
We are using the latest version 1.16.2.
Thanks for any hint on this subject.
Regards,
Catlyn
Hi,
Trying to load test.svg on a Windows 2003 server with IIS 7 and
Mediawiki 1.13.2 gives this error message:
Error creating thumbnail: imageconvert.exe: unable to create temporary
file
`T:/magick-QTrUhNJz': Permission denied.
imageconvert.exe: missing an image filename
`PNG:D:\data\wikipcp\uploads/thumb/b/bd/Test.svg/550px-Test.svg.png'.
If I load this test.svg file with admin permissions on the server
conversion is no problem, but if I load it without admin permission I
get this error message.
Seems to me that imagick is trying to use a temporary folder, but what
folder?
The system temporary folder c:\windows\temp and the upload filer have
enough permissions.
Rendering of JPG and PNG thumbnails work well.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
Is there a way, in DPL or MW function, to produce a listing of wanted pages sorted by source page? By source page I mean the page that contains the link.
Any help or advice will be appreciated.
John
Is it possible to display a message to a user on page save to indicate
that the page is Uncategorized? Or is there an extension that does
this? So far, my investigation has turned up nothing.
Thanks
Bill
I am seeking to hire a skilled MediaWiki user for a full-time position in the Boston, MA area. You will need these talents:
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience designing training materials for a technical audience.
- Software development experience for MediaWiki is a BIG plus. If not a developer, you must at least have a thorough knowledge of how software is developed, because you'll be writing about it.
The position is an interesting mixture of technical writing, training, and software. The company (Vistaprint) is in excellent financial health, has very competitive compensation and benefits, and is a fun place to work! (I've been here 8 years.) I am the hiring manager, so contact me directly if interested.

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) is a program where you get paid
USD5000 to hack an open source project during the summer. It's never
too early to start thinking about summer internships! There's a good
explanation of the program here:
http://www.booki.cc/gsocstudentguide/_v/1.0/what-is-google-summer-of-code/
Community college, university, and graduate students around the
world are eligible. You don't need to be a Computer Science or IT major:
http://www.google-melange.com/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2011/fa…
If you'd like to participate, check out the timeline. Make sure
you are available full-time from 23 May till 22 August this summer, and
have a little free time from 25 April till 23 May for ramp-up.
http://www.google-melange.com/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2011/ti…
Then sign up on our wiki page and start talking with us in
#mediawiki about a possible project! The deadline for you to submit a
project proposal is April 8th, but we encourage you to start early and
talk with us about your idea first.

Bonjour,
champis.net <http://www.champis.net/wiki/index.php/Accueil>
galerie d'images
<http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Aide:Images_et_fichiers_import%C3%A9s#Cr.C3.…>
+Amanites mortelles
valign="center"|

valign="center"|

valign="center"|

+Amanites mortelles
valign="center"|
}
valign="center"|

valign="center"|

encore ?
<http://www.champis.net/wiki/index.php/Les_champignons_dits_comestibles_le_s…>
pleinement ?
Merci par avance !
