Teammates,
I have some users which would like to implement forms capability for their mediawiki.
We are using mediawiki 1.13.5.
What would be the best way to go to implement this capability ?
What is working for you ? What is the current recommendation ?
thanks,
Lori

So I am trying to achieve the same thing as the OP of this thread wanted
[1].
Basically, to get "green" color for "yes" and "red" color for "no" in the
cells just like a standard comparison table on the Internet Wikipedia [2].
So I defined my table (simpliefied example) in the wiki page as follow:
{| cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" border="1" class="wikitable sortable"
|-
! A
! B
|-
| {{Yes}}
| {{No}}
|}
Obviously nothing happened with the above code i.e. I did not get any green
or red background color in the cell. In an expected manner wiki engine
displayed "Yes" and "No" with a "wanted link".
Now I am not sure if I have to create Templates called Template:Yes and
Template:No? And if I do have to create these templates, what should be the
content of those templates?
I am using MediaWiki 1.12 version.

This is a security and bugfix release of MediaWiki 1.15.2.
Two security issues were discovered:
A CSS validation issue was discovered which allows editors to display
external images in wiki pages. This is a privacy concern on public
wikis, since a malicious user may link to an image on a server they
control, which would allow that attacker to gather IP addresses and
other information from users of the public wiki. All sites running
publicly-editable MediaWiki installations are advised to upgrade. All
versions of MediaWiki (prior to this one) are affected.
A data leakage vulnerability was discovered in thumb.php which affects
wikis which restrict access to private files using img_auth.php, or
some similar scheme. All versions of MediaWiki since 1.5 are affected.
Deleting thumb.php is a suitable workaround for private wikis which do
not use $wgThumbnailScriptPath or $wgLocalRepo['thumbScriptUrl'].
Alternatively, you can upgrade to MediaWiki 1.15.2 or backport the
patch below to whatever version of MediaWiki you are using.
MediaWiki is not compatible with PHP 5.3.1 due to a bug in that
release, which is fixed in PHP 5.3.2. This release of MediaWiki will
refuse to upgrade if an affected version of PHP is present. Note that
local or distribution-specific backports of the PHP bug fix are
supported. See http://bugs.php.net/50394 for details.

Hi
My wiki has two different parts on the same subject. I'd like to change
the styling (i.e. colors) a bit for one part.
Is it possible, to have different css-stylesheets in one skin, and use
them each for its namespace?
Has anyone done this before?
Thanks for your help!
Irene
Our wiki uses Mediawiki 1.14, soon to be updated to 1.16. From the day we
updated to 1.14 the RSS feed has been problematic, often sending as many as 30
entries for one new one, resulting in each entry being repeated many times.
The number of false entries appears to be related to the number of changes
that have been made in a period of time, probably 24 hours, which suggests to
me that it's sending a cache or a queue that doesn't get cleared.
I tried the Atom feed, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. However,
Atom feeds are not as well known as RSS ones, and that leaves us with a
quandary. Do we continue to offer a broken feed? Sooner or later someone is
going to ask us why it's not fixed, since we know it to be broken. If we
don't, users will ask us why we don't offer the best-known feed.
How have others resolved the issue?

I'm using 1.15.1 version.
I'd like to know if it is possible to install language plugin on it.
The problem is that I have already populated my wiki with some italian pages

I'd like to know if I can install language support and than put each page
where I want (italian or english side).
After it I'd like to translate each italian pages to english and eag english
