Hi everyone,
I have a site that requires the ability to switch languages. I would
like to accommodate both languages in the same mediawiki installation
and provide links on the page that will set a cookie to switch display
of content to one language or another.
What is the best way to structure the wiki articles to achieve this?
Regards
Rob
Hey,
I'd like to announce the latest release of Maps [0] and Semantic Maps [1]. These new versions include a load of under the hood changes, as well as new functionality, and the usual bugfixes. Some highlights:
* Added display_map parser function. This parser function is optimized for simply displaying a map without any markers.
* Added OpenStreetMap service, using OpenLayers, but optimized for OSM
* Added 'smart geocoding'. Maps will now auto-detect if a value is an address, and if so, attempt to geocode. This allowed for the removal of display_address(es). All maps with markers are now handled by display_point(s).
For a complete list of changes, see the relevant change logs [2].
I encourage everyone using Maps or Semantic Maps to upgrade as soon as possible, for maximum stability, and use of the new syntax.
If you have any suggestions, or find any bugs, let me know!

Hi there,
There is a patch under:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension_talk:EzMwLucene#Special:Upload_brok…
which would fix the "Special:Upload broken on new install" problem.
Sorry for my stupid question, but how to apply the patch?
Should I need to copy it to the end of EzMwLuceneIndexer.php file?
Thanks in advance.
Ross

Any help?
Hello Everyone,
My problem is this : mediawiki linux appliance. Working great for a long
time. Until the image size maxed out. Now mysql won't work with the innodb
wikidb database. Not sure if the db is corrupt or not. Cannot do a
mysqldump, just doesn't recognise the db.
Please help.
Thanks
