No such file or directory in...... (mediawiki error)

I uploaded and setup my database on my new server and get the error below: Warning: dir(/var/www/vhosts/wikisound.com/httpdocs/skins): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/hcn/public_html/wikisound/includes/Skin.php on line 23 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/hcn/public_html/wikisound/includes/Skin.php on line 26 I've re-uploaded the files a few times with no luck. Is there any reason that this error keeps happening? I tried troubleshooting this on mwusers.com, and that thread is available at http://www.mwusers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6927. Skinning Problems

Hi This is probably a question that every noob asks sooner or later, but I really can’t seem to get things working. I am trying to skin HYPERLINK "http://www.the-gateroom.com/wiki"http://www.the-gateroom.com/wiki with the Skinori Bluedi (The Blue Cypher) skin, by Stevertigo. I want this to be the default skin for my site, as it is very close to the main design of the site. However, I am having real issues getting it to work. mediawiki SELinux

I'm instaling FC5 on a server just to be used via FTP and MediaWiki. Question: It works fine unless SELinux is set to enforcing. How necessary is SELinux? Is there a comprenhensive guide on how to configure it for Mediawiki? Just cannot find the right info. Thanks.

Show Section Numbers

I'd like to add the section numbers from the TOC to the outputed section titles. Is there an option to do this? If not, can someone point me towards the code that generates the section headings?

Pages names with underscores?

Is there anyway to create a page with an underscore in its name? Underscores seem to get mapped automatically to spaces in page names.

Create account - 'by email'

On the new 'Create an account' screen for v1.6 there is a button labeled 'by email'. It seems to create a new account and then send the user an email notice teling them their password has been changed. My users are finding it confusing, and i checked and it doesn't seem to exist on wikipedia. What is the purpose of this button on the create a new account page? Is there a way of disabling it? thanks

Getting Article Title in ArticleSave hook

I am having some trouble getting the article name in: $wgHooks['ArticleSave'][] $article->getTitle() returns some kind of object $wgParser->mTitle is blank also on a side note the ArticleSaveComplete hook never seems to get called. I added a error_log to a file and it never writes. If someone knows the answer to this as well it would be great of them to share it.

Wow, that worked thanks a lot. There have been plenty of solutions but this is by far the easiest and most elegant. So that I understand exactly what is going on...that explicitly says that a table nested inside a wikitable should not have a border? There is one problem that I have with this solution... I noticed now that when I nest a wikitable inside of a wikitable that the inner table doesn't have cell borders now and it should. The solution I am really looking for a way to make a table to look exactly the same whether it is inside of another table or outside by itself. Here is a table I made and below it I put my common.css {| class="wikitable" |- | * this is a normal cell in the outer table | bla || bla |- | '''in this cell is an inner table where each cell has an explicit border''' {| |+ Inner Table 1 |- | style="border: 2px solid red" | 1 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 2 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 3 |- | style="border: 2px solid red" | 4 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 5 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 6 |- | style="border: 2px solid red" | 7 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 8 | style="border: 2px solid red" | 9 |} | bla || bla |- | In this cell is an inner wikitable which I would think should have a border on each cell just like the outer one does. Names of images displayed instead of images themselves

Hi. I recently upgraded Mediawiki from 1.4.4 to 1.6.6 and some images are no longer displayed and are replaced with "Image:name_of_file.jpg".
