For images which do not work, it is unknown/unknown ; for example:
CodePro_Collaboration_Server_Preferences.png (40KB, MIME type: unknown/unknown)
For those that do:
image/jpeg or image/png
JPSetup_newproject.jpg (38KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
CodePro_Audit_Rule_Sets_Preferences.png (27KB, MIME type: image/png)
or the Image: page does not even list the MIME type
Is there an easy way to correct this? These came out of a runing 1.4.12 wiki
which I exported as sql then imported into 1.5.5 (no errors/warnings

Well the logo is easy to change, also the css is also easy to change
once you know how.
Although I still have unresolved quirks which I ought to figure out
one of these days, editing the mookbook's css is as easy as editing
[[MediaWiki:Monobook.css]] There is documentation around here
somewhere.
If there's some kind of common.css .. I don't know about it. =)
I wanted to use MediaWiki as the "engine" which would describe a number
of technical terms here where I work.
What I noticed though, that it is impossible to make an article which
would start with a small letter - each and every new article is
automatically converted to uppercase.
For some technical terms I am going to describe this would look awkward.
Is it possible to make articles which names would be started from a
small letter?
If so, how?

Hi,
I would like to write links to sections in the same document. Is it possible?
And, is it possible to have the titles of sections numbered?

Hello; just set up Mediawiki and am scouring the FAQs and websites for help. Do have one question
I changed the colours on some of my links, etc., in the main.css file. For some reason, the automatic underline disappears when I use the ==Heading== command with the double '==' characters. I suspect I've turned the colour of the underline to the same colour as my background, but searching around in main.css, I can't figure out which command I need to change back.
Can anyone identify the block of text in main.css (or the appropriate file if not main.css) which sets the colour of the underline?
I am using the default Monobook skin.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
how to show thumbnails of images?
* first upload an image
* enter [[Image:myPic.jpg|thumb|alternative text]]
Thats all, isn't it?
But no thumbnail is shown, only a frame an 'alternative text' and the
enlarge link!
In LocalSettings.php I have the following block:
## To enable image uploads, make sure the 'images' directory
## is writable, then uncomment this:
$wgEnableUploads = true;
$wgUseImageResize = true;
$wgUseImageMagick = true;
$wgImageMagickConvertCommand = "/usr/segment/bin/convert";
When I enter /usr/segment/bin/convert on the webserver I get the following:
bash-3.1$ /usr/segment/bin/convert
Version: ImageMagick 6.1.8 01/18/05 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org
Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2005 ImageMagick Studio LLC
...
This seems to be correct.
Any idea?
Can this be a PHP safe mode problem? Because I had some problems
activating image uploads.
I must run MediaWiki as cgi module.
Thanks, MB
Whenever I click on the Edit this page link, a download begins. What could be the reason?
This is only on one wiki (1.5.5) out of five on the same server.

Hi,
I had my database fail last night and I have attempted to import a backup
that I made previously, however when I visit any page on my Wiki it comes up
blank.
Can anybody shed any light as to why this has occurred?

Thomas
