Deleting pages (articles)

Hello all. I installed MediaWiki a few days ago and I am aleady becoming familiar with it, however, I have found that the learning curve is somewhat steeper for admins. One thing I could not solve was a way of deleting articles (pages). Testing the script I mistakenly create some articles that although don't show up straight on navigation, they do show up on Special:Allmessages. I would like to delete those pages. Thanks. Roberto

Recent Changes RSS not working.

How can I make pages similar to Special:Preferences, where there is a menu displayed, and the content on the page changes based on the menu selection?

Head inclusion for js and css

hi, I know it'll seem crazy to let people include javascript, but sometimes... Here is my hack. For each page MyPage, the content of Head:MyPage is included in the head element. You can then for each page customize the css rules or include some javascripts. Of course, you'd better do this only on very secure edit rights for the Head namespace. http://www.fxparlant.net/Include_Head François

SQLite support

Has anyone attempted to add SQLite support to MediaWiki? I would like to use MW for personal use using a minimal server (XAMPP Lite). Forcing a disclaimer to be displayed

Hi, We are developing a project of an online encyclopedia of simple technologies and practical knowledge (www,howtopedia.org). For this Platform we use Wikimedia. Cause of the potential risk of misuse of such technologies we decided to force the user to pass through a disclaimer validation process (to discharge us from reponsability in case of accident etc...). For implementing this I have to put a test (session + cookie based) to all articles. Where would be the best place to put this code? Thanks in advance for your answers, Best Alain Bellet

How to fix stale thumbnail Image caches?

My 1.4.0 MW site experiences "stale" thumbnail Image caches when the Image file is updated via successive file uploads. The only way yet I've found to fix this is the temporarily rename the Image-file name, save the page, then re-edit the page back to the original name. Do more-recent versions of MW fix this? If not, how can I best address this problem? Thanks, -Matt

Info Table float:right not working under IE

I am trying to locate information tables along the right of certain pages. I copied some HTML code used on wikipedia, but i am still having trouble. To see the problem go to http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Brakes Under Firefox, the desired result is achieved. So it must be something either in 1.5 or my skin?
