Ok, I had a closer look at this: Indeed, all old versions of the articles are gone - almost. There is one article that I'm using as a daily logbook (that's why I want to delete old revisions). I tried to delete the revisions using php deleteOldRevisions.php --delete but I got stuck by an falty sql query. Thats when I tried to delete the article and to create it again (my old logbook entries are moved to an archive anyway). Now there is the new article with no revisions, but it's providing links to restore the deleted versions -> all versions are still in the DB. The problem with deleteOldRevisions.php was, that the script didn't deal properly with some empty strings: Adjusting purgeOldText.inc line 24 (and one more occurrance at l 35) like while( $row = $dbw->fetchObject( $res ) ) { if ($row->ar_text_id!=""){ $cur[] = $row->ar_text_id; } } fixed it. After fixing it deleted properly the old revisions - but not the "deleted revisions" ... - Moritz
