really nasty stuff about a person and get a real kick out of it. I
really wish I didn't know such people. I mean I've seen some really
sick stuff written on profiles of mine. So, I decide to go with a wiki
after watching a video on
vtc.com In the wiki engine chosen she was
able to set it to where only registered users could edit and create
articles. I think that can be nice. A wiki can be exciting for a
community to see develop. I suppose the people I know could register
just to be able to do what they do, but they seem to like to hide behind
a greater level of anonymity. Any form of registration discourages such
activities. I just want to display some articles and information and a
wiki seemed like the ticket.

I see. You may block anonymous editing by adding to LocalSettings.php
$wgGroupPermissions['*']['edit'] = false; like Ćukasz pointed out.
