a) download the correct version of "Cite" (= 44056), appropriate for my
Mediawiki 1.14.0
b) read the instructions thoroughly - the "require( Cite )"-Line has to
be placed immediately after the "DefaultSettings.php!"-Line!
Now it works as expected,
