I'm running 1.8 and the SkinTemplate.php instructions just disables the site for me. I checked in the Meta FAQ and could not find an answer. Is there a way to remove the links for "Talk for this IP" in earlier versions?
I played withit on 1.9.3 today and wanted to hide the whole thingi (incld) IP, without success.
