The instructions to "remove the "Talk for this IP" link at the top right when $wgDisableAnonTalk is true" listed in MediaWiki's Manual: FAQ seems to only apply to versions 1.9.2 and 1.9.3. I'm running 1.8 and the SkinTemplate.php instructions just disables the site for me. I checked in the Meta FAQ and could not find an answer. Is there a way to remove the links for "Talk for this IP" in earlier versions? Thanks for your help. Nancy Dailey
