Subject: Re: [Mediawiki-l] Search for 3 letter words / Acronyms
You have to modify your mysql configuration. The default is to only
index words of 4 characters or longer. I believe the configuration
is in my.ini.
This was actually the first question I had answered by the very
helpful mediawiki community when I asked it many months ago.

Hi,
I need to modify my mediawiki installation so that I can search for
3 letter
words / acronyms such as 'VPN' etc.
I have WAMP 5 installed on windows XP to run Mediawiki.
I have searched the Mediawiki site for a solution to the problem
but have
not found any answer so far.
Any help is much appreciated,
Mike.
