MediaWiki already does versioning of images. Just click on the image in
question and you will see the File history on the image detail page.

Hi guys,
I am making a wiki which contains quite a number of images. Each page
contains an image more or less. Main idea is people can download such
an image, modify it and upload it again. However, how can it be
displayed again in the page without too many modifications to the
page.
What I am looking for is some kind of versioning for images. So the
page links to the last instance of the image and if a user wants to
view an "older" image he can select one from a list.
Do you know of any solution for this problem?
Thanks!
With regards,
Paul van Erk
