Hi,
just reporting how I solved this, unfortunately not in an elegant way. I
separately installed 1.6.* and manully hand-copied all pages, only
using the history (not that in important in this case).
- From all what I've read on web, mailing list and update documentation I
didn't had the feeling that an upgrade from such an old version was a
good idea. Since the >100 pages only took me about 90 minutes to
transfer it was ok for me.

Hi,
I'm running a pretty old version, 1.3.9, and would like to upgrade to
the most current version, 1.6.6 as of now.
I'm not yet sure, but as it seems I've to do the upgrade in steps:
* upgraed to 1.4
* upgrade to 1.5
* finally upgrade to 1.6.6
Is this true or can I immidiately upgrade to 1.6.6?
For us only the articles/categories are really important. Users, etc.
are not relevant for us. We don't use any advanced stuff like templates
or similiar things and there are just some few uploads.
Is there another way to export all the MediaWiki content to a neutral
format which can be important into the latest version?
thanks,
- Markus
