Use PostFix instead of SendMail - it's a no-brainer to config postfix, but a
real pain to get sendmail working... imho. Took me days to get sendmail to
work. For postfix (when I moved my hosted wikis to a new box), I just turned
it on.

I've got MediaWiki running and online but am not getting any emails when
pages are modified.
I have opted to watch the pages so its not a basic error like that.
