Thank you very much Ryan Lane,
Actually you are right, our port is 389 so we imagine we are using clear
encryption.
IT WORKS!!! Thank you very much.

Hi everybody,
We are trying to connect to LDAP, but we can't configure it in
Localsettings.
We have read the instructions in the extension page, and in this url:
http://conteudoopensource.blogspot.com/2010/05/mediawiki-autenticando-acess…,
but we still can't make it.
We don't know were to put the server port. Also, the used atributtes in the
example are this: $wgLDAPBaseDNs = array("LEBRIJO.COM"=>"*dc=lebrijo,dc=com
*), and the ones we have are something like
this: uid=...,ou=people,o=...,o=...
Please if someone knows how to help us, we are going to be very grateful.
Atte.

Hello,
I’m currently working on a internal wiki for a company. They need it to report problems about pieces. To sort more easily the reports, I have to categorize them by client, tools, etc…
To help the employees about adding those categories, I’d like to add some fields which they would complete and which will add automatically the code “[[category: nameOfTheCat]]” at the end of the article.
I already have found the way to add the fields in EditPage.php, but I couldn’t find how to implement the script on page’s submission. I there any function I didn’t see ? Could someone explain me how to add this script ? I probably misunderstood something about how “addHTML( Xml::…” works.
Regards,
Samuel Marchand

I have a small wiki farm. I would like to include templates (and in a
couple of places transclude entire pages) from one "main" wiki into
some of the smaller instances. I have enabled
wgEnableScaryTranscluding and set iw_local and iw_trans in the rows
associated with my iw_prefix of my interwiki table.
If I include a template like {{we:Objective|Think}} the text of the
template is included in my page as I had hoped. But:
1. the parameter reference doesn't appear to get substituted, it
renders as {{{1}}}
2. if the template (or other page I try to transclude) includes
images, they render as broken images
In an attempt to fix the second problem, folks on #mediawiki suggested
I setup a foreign file repo. That does allow me to transparently
reference images that exist in the main wiki, but does not seem to
affect the rendering of images in transcluded templates and pages.
(Meaning [[Image:Objective.gif]] works, but if Template:Objective
references that image, it is broken when the template is pulled across
the interwiki reference above.)
How can I get templates (and transcluded pages) to work across wiki
instances?
(Mediawiki 1.15.3)
Hello listmates,
I have installed the secure pages extension on my Wiki. Here's the extension:
http://pluto.htu.tuwien.ac.at/devel_wiki/SecurePages
And I get no error messages - but it seems to simply not work. Has
anybody used this? Would anybody have any idea as to what I may be
doing wrong?
Thanks.
Boris.
Thanks Platonides,
The solution for the counters was perfect, but we still need to leave just
the last modification on the history of the pages. As we said we are the
only ones that are working on the Wiki in this moment, and we need to leave
it in 0's so that it's easier to see the future evolution. We are only two
people and we have sysop and bureaucrat permissions.
Once again, thanks.

Never mind. It was right in the first place. No other pages in User:Noobs
space would have any TALK pages.... Gotta wake up here.
