For various reasons it makes sense in a wiki I am administering to
have subpages in the Image namespace. I've turned this on in
LocalSettings.php, but it doesn't seem to work: i.e., if I try to
upload an image to Image:foo/bar.jpg, mediawiki puts it in
Image:bar.jpg. Is this a bug or a feature? :) And, in either
case, can I "fix" it?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how I can reset the page views (number times page
accessed) stats on my Mediawiki? I'm using Mediawiki version 1.5.8.
I've finished the content development stage, and we're ready to launch on
our corporate intranet - so I'd like to reset my stats.
Thank you!

Has anyone managed to get the dumpBackup.php script to run on MW 1.9.2 -
I have checked the adminsettings.php file and have used the following
commands, both giving errors:
php5 dumpBackup.php --full > full.xml
php5 dumpBackup.php --full
Errors:
PHP Warning: array_shift() [<a
href='function.array-shift'>function.array-shift</a>]: The argument
should be an array in
/home/sites/pubswiki.co.uk/public_html/php5/wiki/maintenance/commandLine.inc

Any help would be appreciated

I'm trying to locate the latest release of Word2MediaWikiPlus. That
would be release 0.7.0.11 or greater.
The original author, Gunter Schmidt, has stopped working on this
project and I am coordinating its comeback with his authorization.
He did an excellent work on this extension, by the way, and it is very
useful. Now he authorized that the work is carried on by the
community. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the latest version
available.
I have version 0.7.0.10. So if anyone has a more recent one, please
contact me so the community can continue from where Gunter Schmidt
stopped.
My best regards.
I am getting these errors on the Apache log file:

This is causing everything to lock up. After I restart Apache it works
fine until it happens again. Any ideas? We are running Windows 2003
Server, IHS 6.0(Apache 2.0.49), PHP 5.2.0, MYSQL 5.0.27, and MediaWIKI
1.9.2. Thank you.

I have a lot of small names in my wiki, e.g. "SY090", "SY000" or
"PHBD020". Those names are actually names of applications, building up
a huge production planning platform. What I would like to have is the
capability of searching for portions of those (admittedly short)
names. I would like to be able to search for "000" or for "SY" or "BD"
getting all the names that have that pattern in it.
Any suggestions on how to tweak/tune the search algorithm?
BTW: the db is rather small, a few hundreds (200-300) names of that
kind plus their explanations will be stored.

Could anyone direct me to an administrator of the mediawiki.org site?
HappyDog is away and I'd like to make a question about the site usage
rules.
Thanks.

That's the way it should work by default, IMHO. It would make it
easier for people who don't know a pixel from a database record to
contribute.
Or else you have people with new digicams uploading their 8+
megapixel images.

Do you mean a "live view," that would stay in sync with WikiPedia
changes?
If not, just copy and paste the HTML produced in your favorite
browser. They all have something similar to Safari's "View --> View
Source" menu item.

Is there a way to show a list of new and updates pages that belong to
a category (and its subcategories)?
If not, could anyone suggest a starting point to build this? Maybe the
recent changes special page?
