LOL: Possibly if I had a clue how to use Lua properly, but alas I don't.
That's why I prefer to use pre-existing templates from a quality
source. My actual preference would be to avoid Lua all together, but it
seems it is already deeply buried within the guts of Wikipedia, from
which I pull a lot of info to start an article.
Oh well, I'll just have to continue to muddle along doing the best I
can. Thanks for all the tips, several were informative.

John, I can't really tell you how to set it up
properly since I don't use
that extension. Unless you need to use this extension wouldn't it be
easier, long term, to just re-write the templates to not use this extension?

OK I did indeed just install that extension and
followed the instructions
regarding updating the tabls. Any idea what I need to do to complete this
properly?
Thanks!

Some recently downloaded templates from Wikipedia
are calling for
Special:StablePages in the scripts. What is this and how do I install it.
I have Mediawiki 1.24.1 installed and completely updated. Any tips please?
