[Mediawiki-l] Is there a way to limit the size of images uploaded

ok, sounds reasonable... But why then keep the default on 10 or 20M? Is it
speed? In other words, if I want to enlarge the value, should I be as
reluctant as possible? Or is it not (really) important?
