yes, i fixed that (and a couple of other typos).
When creating a new thread, do not reply to an existing message and change the subject. This will confuse peoples' mail readers, and will result in fewer people reading your mail. Instead, compose a new message for your post.
I'd reword this. What about "When creating a new thread, do not reply to an existing message, and remember to change the subject. Not doing so would confuse..." ?
i don't understand what this means. if you're not replying, there is no subject to change - you just write a new one.
It's a good idea, but instead of weekly posting, wouldn't putting it on the welcome message be more appropiate?
i don't know if anyone reads the welcome message :) it's probably worth writing something there, though. (also: Gmane.)
