Hello,
We have an extensive mediawiki 1.8.2 install that we are trying to consume
with a portal. However when we point a portlet at the main page url, it
jumps out of the portal scape.
We have tracked it down to a test in the file wikibits.js:
// Un-trap us from framesets
if (window.top != window)
window.top.location = window.location;
We have tested commenting out that test and it seems to behave as expected.
My question is 2 fold,
A) I assume that test is put there for a reason, what would that be?
B) If I leave this commented out, what if any, adverse effects should I
expect?
TIA
Andy.
