I guess if you have got some very specific application where you can't
install additional RSS reader software then you will need to use e-mails
but for everything else IMHO RSS is far better than email for this type
of thing.
C'mon guys. I already said that I've been using RSS to monitor my
wiki for quite some time, but I'm looking for something which will put
it in my face where I spend most of my time, and I'll know about even
if I don't check the particular rss feed for a while.
I kind of feel like the King in the A.A. Milne poem who just wants a
little bit of butter for my bread, not jam, honey, or margarine, but
butter.
Enotify lets you get email if a page on your watched list changes, but
as far as I know there's no way to put everything on the watchlist,
nor is it possible for Enotify to notify you if a new page is added,
although that appears to be somewhere on the roadmap.
