I have seen a similar attack involving that text. (I believe it is an
attack.) This is on 2 wikis, both are running non-current versions of 1.4.
On targeted pages, the primary damage is that the text of a large
portion of the history is deleted. On certain diffs, you may see this
text (oddly, usually just the new side, not the old side). The existance
of the edits is still there, but the content has been lost. (I do not
run the wikis, so I can not say what was still in the DB.)
Keep eyes peeled for similar issues.
