Hello Athur,
But I didnot miss the ']', because in the show preview it looks alright.

It appears that you have missed off the right hand
']' so it is seeing it
as
text rather than a link

Hello Rob,
I did what you suggested and in the preview it looks good.
But when I enter a word in the "search" box that doesnot exist in my wiki,
I
get an answer that is not good.
And I also can't create a new page, because I can't click on anything.
Try it for yourself at:

OK, perhaps my explanation was a touch crude, I'll clarify here.
1. On your wiki, log on as a sysop
2. Browse to the page MediaWiki:Nogomatch
3. Replace the contents of that page with the following text:
'''No page with that title exists.''' You can
[[:<nowiki>$1</nowiki>|create an article with this title]].
4. Save this edit
5. Test to see whether it's worked
No files on the server need to be changed. The original URL,
incidentally, would have taken you to a page containing more or less
the text I provided above; here, I've edited it down to remove
references to Wikipedia.
Hope this helps.

nogomatch?
I found the
word:'nogomatch" in the specialsearch.php
Do I change something there? And how?
This is what it says in the specialsearch.php:
# FIXME: HTML in wiki message
$wgOut->addHTML( '<p>' . wfMsg('nogomatch', $editurl,
htmlspecialchars(
$term ) ) . "</p>\n" );
return $this->showResults( $term );
How do I change it then?
The url you gave doesnot work.
